Inly offers multiple methods for clients to pay with depending on your subscription. Credit Card, ACH (eCheck), and Offline Payments (Physical Cash / Check) are a few different methods of payment within our product. Each of these payment methods has a different corresponding fee.
Here is a quick overview of the fee's for payments processed through Inly:Β
Credit Card: 3% + $0.30 per transaction. For credit card payments where the fees have been selected to be passed to the client within Inly, there is an additional 0.5% convenience fee. Therefore, the total processing fee is 3.5% + $0.30.
eCheck / ACH: Fees are 1.5% per transaction. If you absorb the fee, it's capped at $10. If you pass the fee to your client, it's capped at $35 β making it a great option for larger payments.
Physical Cash / Check: You can still record payments that are made the old fashioned way, and these of course do not include any fees.
When autopay is enabled on an invoice, fees work slightly differently:
Credit Card Autopay: A flat 3.5% per transaction (replaces the standard 3% + $0.30 rate). This applies whether you absorb the fee or pass it to your client.
ACH Autopay: 1.5% per transaction, capped at $35 β whether you absorb the fee or pass it to your client.
