How to Add a Team Member to Your Company

Easily add one or multiple team members to your Inly account to operate your business.

Adding additional team members to your Inly account is simple and allows other individuals to have access to your specific business within your Inly account. You can also easily view your entire team by following the same steps listed below.

Here is how you can add a team member to your account:

1. Click on your name/business located in the bottom left corner of the main window after logging in.

2. Click on the "Business Settings" button, then select "User Roles and Permissions."

3. In the upper right hand corner of the screen, click "Invite User."

4. Input your team members information and they will receive an email to setup the ability to access your business. Click "Send Invitation." These changes will be effective immediately. For "Roles," a Super Admin has access to everything, and an Admin has access to everything except Business Profile, Payment Settings, Change Password, and User Roles & Permissions.

5. The invitee will receive an email from Inly. They should click "Accept invitation."

6. This will bring them to a page to create their Inly account.

7. After the invitee completes this form and clicks "Accept invitation", they will appear as a team member on the "User Roles and Permissions" page. You can view your entire team on this page as well.

Troubleshooting

I don't see the "Invite User" button.

Make sure:

  • You're logged in as a Super Admin or Admin

  • You're on the Roles & Permissions page

  • You have permission to invite team members

The invitation email isn't being sent.

Check:

  • The email address is correct and valid

  • The email isn't already associated with another Inly account (they may need to accept the invitation)

  • Check spam/junk folders

  • Try resending the invitation

I can't assign a specific role.

Role availability may depend on:

  • Your own role (you can only assign roles you have access to)

  • Business settings and permissions

The team member says they didn't receive the invitation.

Try:

  • Verifying the email address is correct

  • Checking spam/junk folders

  • Resending the invitation

  • Having them check their email associated with Inly
