If you want to reuse a contract you’ve already sent to a client without retyping it every time, you can save it as a template for future use.

There are two easy ways to do this: through your Settings or while using the Flow Builder.

✅ Option 1: Create a Contract Template in Settings

  1. Go to SettingsBusiness SettingsTemplates

  2. Click Contracts and select New Template

  3. Give your template a clear title (e.g., “Wedding Photography Agreement”)

  4. Paste or write your contract content directly into the editor

  5. Use dynamic inputs like Client Name, Payment Schedule, or Invoice Charges + More to personalize it automatically. (When you load the template in the future, it will auto-load the corresponding client info so you never have to type it again!)

  6. Click Save Changes

Your contract template is now ready to use in any future flow!

✨ Option 2: Save a Contract as a Template from the Flow Builder

  1. When creating a contract in the Flow Builder, customize it as usual after selecting, "Contract" from the document types.

  2. Before sending, click the template icon in the left-corner of the contract on the flow timeline

  3. Select Create New Template

  4. Name your template and save

  5. Existing contract templates can also easily be loaded in from this menu and changes can be saved to a template too.

This makes it easy to turn any existing contract into a reusable template directly from your workflow.

🔄 Using Your Template

When creating a new contract, simply choose contract and select your saved version by clicking the template icon and loading in the template. All smart fields will auto-fill based on your project details-no need to start from scratch.
